General Engineering & Irrigation is a Childers based irrigation and steel fabrication business which opened in 1960 and has been looking after the people of the Isis district and beyond since then.

The isis district was originally a sugar cane growing area but over the years has expanded to growing numerous tree crops including Avocado, Macadamia and Mangoes. G.E.I with a team of 12 staff who have kept up with the different requirements of our customers and now can offer a varied range of irrigation equipment and designs for all diverse applications. We also have a well-equipped steel fabrication and manufacturing workshop which will tackle most jobs.
